Stamford Cycling is a free, no-drop social cycling club in Stamford, Lincolnshire. The club and this website are run by Cycleverse Ltd, a UK company, and Cycleverse Ltd earns money from some of the brands we write about. This page explains how.
The short version
- Some links and discount codes on this site are affiliate links or codes. If you buy or subscribe through them, we may earn a commission or a reward. It does not cost you extra.
- Some partners support the club directly, for example with kit or coffee. We say so when we write about them.
- We only write about products and services we have used or tested ourselves and we say when something was gifted or loaned to us.
- The money helps cover the cost of running the site and the club, including club kit and post-ride coffees.

Each partner is listed with what we receive and where you will see it.
Strava (affiliate partner)
We earn a commission when someone subscribes to Strava using our code STAMFORD or our links, for example on our Strava page. We use Strava ourselves every week. The club is also a Strava Verified Club, which is a Strava status and does not mean Strava endorses this site.
LightSpeed Broadband (club supporter and referral partner)
LightSpeed supports the club with our jerseys and coffees. We also receive a a credit to our broadband account when someone signs up through our referral link on the Lightspeed page.
Tesla (referral rewards)
If you buy a Tesla using a referral link hosted on our site, the referrer earns free supercharging miles. Referral links may be shared by Johnny and by other Tesla owners, who receive the same type of reward from our Tesla page.
Fika (local partner)
Fika is our regular post-ride coffee stop and appears on our club kit, alongside LightSpeed as this is our un-official club HQ. We don’t earn or refer here, we just think it’s the best coffee stop in town.
How we keep our reviews and recommendations honest
- Real use: reviews and guides are written by Johnny, based on products and services we have actually used on the roads our during club rides.
- No fake reviews: we do not publish invented reviews or testimonials and we do not pay for positive ones.
- Gifted and loaned items: if a brand gives or lends us a product, we say so on the page.
- Commission does not decide what we say: we may include a product that does not pay us and we will say when something is not right for you.
- Checked prices and offers: we check our codes and prices regularly and show the date we last did. Brands can change or withdraw offers at any time, so please confirm the details at checkout.
